abv Glucanase Plus
Brewhouse Enzyme
abv Glucanase Plus is a food grade fungal beta glucanse and hemicellulase preparation produced by the fermentation of a non GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum
The main activity of this enzyme is to catalyse the endo-hydrolysis of beta glucans, 1,4-beta-glucosides and 1,4-beta-xylans in wheat, barley and cereal substrates.
abv glucanase plus improves lautering and wort filterability problems caused by beta glucans and complex pentosans due to variations in crop quality. It also eradicates of hazes in beer and poor filterability caused by beta glucans when added to the beer prior filtration.
