abv Alphamylase LT
Brewhouse enzyme
abv Alphamylase LT is a starch liquefying enzyme for use in brewing and potable alcohol manufacture. It conforms to the purity specification for food grade enzymes recommended by JEFCA and the FCC.
Derived from a non GMO strain of Bacillus subtillis, the main mode of action is the liquefying of starch substrates.
It efficiently liquefies a wide range of starch substrates and allows the use of high levels of un-malted adjuncts. It rectifies set mashes and reduces the potential for starch positive worts.
