abv Alphamylase FA
Saccharification Enzyme
abv Alphamylase FA is a saccharifying enzyme developed for use both in the brewing and starch industry to yield high levels maltose. It conforms to the purity specification for food grade enzymes recommended by JEFCA and the FCC.
abv Alphamylase FA is a non GMO fungal alpha amylase derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus oryzae. It hydrolyses the alpha 1-4 gucosidic linkages in starch, producing large amounts of maltose.
abv Alphamylase FA increases the amount of available sugars for fermentation, and therefore helps control slow/sluggish fermentation. It can help improve attenuation limits, eliminate residual starch to improve filter run lengths and remove starch hazes.
